Abstract

(Figure Presented) At long last, the crystal structure of the metastable form of benzamide, whose existence has been known of for over 170 years, has finally been solved by using a combination of in situ crystallization, high-speed synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction, and global-optimization methods of structure determination (see picture). © 2005 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
