Abstract

This chapter is a conversational interview with the artists Ruth Gibson and Bruno Martelli, aka igloo. Starting with the author's phenomenological account of experiencing Swanquake:House (an installation by igloo) as a means of introducing the work and the theme of oscillation between the physical and the virtual, the interview draws out the creative concerns and motivations in their work and in their use of videogame technologies and aesthetics.
