Abstract

This workshop provided an evidence-based approach to understanding how thinking can influence behaviour, performance, and wellbeing. The overall aim was to provide delegates with applied techniques to use in their own working lives to promote a more positive and optimistic outlook even in challenging times. Evidence suggests that experiencing positive emotions can lead to broader thinking and ultimately resilience (See work on the Broaden and Build Theory). The slides from this presentation are available from the author by email request.
