Abstract

The federal model as a basis for the organization of society has been a fundamental element of anarchist thought since its origins. This chapter explores how the debate on federalism became part of a broader reflection on the causes of the defeat of the workers' movement in 1919-1922 and the emergence of Fascism, leading to strategic relationships between federalist anti-fascist groups.
