Abstract

The pedagogical value for postgraduate film and media studies of a discussion of Shane Carruth's 2013 film, 'Upstream Color', is in both teaching the potential complexity and sophistication of eco-horror cinema and, reciprocally, what eco-horror cinema affords with respect to the cultivation of a radically ecological sensibility.
