Abstract
There has been a renewed and increased intensity surrounding issues of equality, equity, diversity and inclusion within Higher Education. This intensity has permeated from wider social agendas relating to deprivation, inequity and discrimination which have been exacerbated by the global pandemic. It is essential that universities respond to, and challenge inequalities that relate to social and educational practices. Alongside this, it is crucial that support systems and resources are created to enable and empower colleagues to address and challenge these issues in their own disciplines.
In light of this, and in connection with the University’s EDI Re/Validation pilot, the concept of the Inclusive Education Resource Hub (IERH) was born. The IERH acts as a hive of information for all colleagues across the University to understand more about inclusive education and how to embed inclusive, equitable and diverse practices into the teaching and learning environment. This poster will document the journey from creation through to launch which has been a collaborative process led by a desire to inform, help and develop teaching and learning practice. The IERH is an Eleanor Glanville Institute project and will be officially launched at this Lincoln Inclusion and Diversity Conference.
