Abstract

This rapid review forms the first stage of an evaluation of services for adults with a learning disability and autistic adults in prisons in the Midlands on behalf of NHS England and NHS Improvement. The review is aimed at providing information on what works well at a national and international level in meeting the needs of individuals in the two populations. It is important to note that learning difficulty and other forms of neurodiversity were not within the scope of the current review.
