Abstract
A live presentation of the 15x15 project as part of (re)Actor: The First International Conference on Digital Live Art, HCI 2006 Engage at Queen Mary, University of London. In 1968 Andy Warhol stated that; ‘In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes’. Warhol's statement was based in his interest in fame and famous people. His view of the media was that they could enable any person to become famous, the rise of reality television shows has given new meaning to Warhol's 15 minutes quote. Using Warhol’s statement as a premise, 15x15 advances the statement into the 21st century; with new media technology anyone and everyone can be world famous....for 15 seconds.
