Abstract
Blues For Zoey is a young adult, coming-of-age novel about Kaz Barrett a half-black, half-Japanese teen caring his young sister and mother, who suffers from a mysterious sleeping illness. His life is thrown into disarray when he meets Zoey, a mercurial street musician with a mysterious instrument.
