Abstract
The chapter follows the author’s learning journey from the encounter of Team Academy (TA) to the design and running of a hybrid model in postgraduate education. With the development of a postgraduate programme in tourism and its integrated coaching module based on TA philosophy, it is demonstrated that TA methods and practices are replicable outside the core context. The MSc International Tourism Management programme validated in 2019 at Lincoln International Business School (United Kingdom) is unique and timely making the point of discussion due to its innovative approaches in postgraduate tourism education with the implementation of TA philosophy and methodologies by developing an entrepreneurial/ intrapreneurial mind in young adults. The experience and findings of running a tourism postgraduate hybrid model can be easily replicated in other modules and programmes by following the design framework. The lessons learned in a tourism journey from Lincolnshire can be easily moulded and applied in specialisms ranging from arts to science in any corner of the world. The global reach and significance of the chapter is the result of the global spread of TA phenomenon.
