Abstract

This chapter examines how the Lincoln Magna Carta, one of the world’s great heritage artefacts, has been developed as a visitor attraction. The work details the role of the student as producer, a partner in research approach to higher education at the University of Lincoln, UK. This chapter reports on visitor perceptions of a new purpose-built exhibition centre using the experiential servicescape as an investigative framework, additionally exploring the link between the Magna Carta and visitor identity.
