Abstract

Entrepreneurship programs are eminently individualistic. From this viewpoint can be used to increase the viability of rural communities in Central Mexico? In order to answer it, we identified different approaches that might describe the entrepreneurship phenomenon. We illustrated them, through different descriptions delivered by their beneficiaries and managers in Central Mexico. Finally, we recognized their limitations and possible improvements.Our main contribution has been to produce different ways for modeling entrepreneurship performance and their contribution to the improvement of communities’ viability
