Abstract
Self-Portrait with the Rod of Asclepius: Architectural Divine Comedy about Health, Politics and Finances
An architectural theatre play portraying different financial and cultural contexts of developing and designing places dedicated to healthcare. Characters in the play dispute various financial strategies, their effectiveness and the resulting architectural qualities looking at examples of Epidaurus in Greece, PFI (Public Funding Initiative) Projects in the UK, Maggie's Centres, and ‘Down-To-Earth’ Centre near Swansea in Wales
