Abstract

Commencing in 2018, this four-year project, established by Double Impact (DI) and funded by the Big Lottery Community Fund, aims to help people recover from drug and alcohol problems. The Boston Recovery Pathways Project (BRP), to enable service beneficiaries to gain new skills and qualifications, improve their prospects and feel more connected to their local community. This current interim report focuses on the year 2 (period between September 2019 – August 2020) Dr Lyndsey Harris and Dr Lauren Hall have worked alongside Double Impact staff to ensure a comprehensive service evaluation of BRP could be designed and delivered. Harris and Hall will produce a final evaluation report at the end of the project. Overall The Boston Recovery Pathway has succeeded in intensively engaging with and building the local recovery community this year, demonstrating overall improvements in three of the four outcomes in the face of a global pandemic and tackling associated challenges competently throughout.
