Abstract

Flipped learning, in the form of asynchronous pre-learning videos, was compared with traditional teaching methodology. Flipped learning resulted in increased opportunities to develop higher order thinking skills during teaching sessions and increased attainment in examinations, particularly for students with lower previous academic attainment.
