Abstract
The last decade saw growing interest in entrepreneurial ecosystems, which led to an increase in related publications in academic journals. The aim of this article is to provide a bibliometric analysis and systematic literature review of high-quality contributions in this field, with a focus on a general overview of the research on entrepreneurial ecosystems. This study discusses the results from a citation and network analysis by using co-occurrence, co-authorship, citation, bibliographic coupling, and co-citation techniques to highlight the state of the art of the research stream and propose several emerging directions for future research.
