Abstract
This is a collection of material relating to the project "Memory, Migration and Music". It consists of video material from twenty-two interviews with members of Lincolnshire's Eastern European migrant community. The interviews explore the relationship between migration and musical taste / consumption. The research focused on how musical tastes might be affected by experiences of migration.
The material also includes a short edited film compiled from the interviews; a booklet created for members of the public; various ephemera from events related to the project; and the scholarly article "Welcoming Voices: Memory, Migration and Music", in Performance Research 24:1, pp.17-24 available at https://eprints.lincoln.ac.uk/id/eprint/34798/
"Memory, Migration and Music" was part of a wider research project called "Welcoming Voices: Listening to the Voices of Migrant Communities" (2016-18).
