Abstract
The Northwest Ecological Connectivity Investigation (NECI) was commissioned to identify priorities for ecological connectivity for the municipalities of Brimbank and Hume, located in the city of Melbourne, Australia. The results of the investigation are intended to inform the development of an Ecological Connectivity Plan for each of the two council areas which considers habitat connectivity within each municipality and the surrounding landscape, with a particular focus on the Victorian Volcanic Plains Bioregion.
