Abstract

The findings from an evaluation of the reclaiming social work project, which was used in 5 local authorities.

Reclaiming social work (RSW) is a reform to improve practice in children’s services. The overall aims include:
- improving risk assessment and decision-making
- providing more effective help
- risk management for children and families
- keeping families together, where appropriate
