Abstract
Which one will you be in the year Nineteen Eighty-Four? is an exploration of the destruction of words through a coptic bound artists’ book that presents a fragmented version of the original text by George Orwell.
Additional Information: | In 2008 GRRR’s artists’ book Which one will you be in the year Nineteen Eighty-Four? was selected for inclusion and constructed for the exhibition from Book to Book (6 March–20 April 2008) held at Leeds City Art Gallery and curated by John McDowall and Chris Taylor showcasing 46 new artists' books made in response to books themselves, gathered together they present a celebration of the connections from book to book. |
