Abstract
This book chapter commences with a discussion concerning the complex and contested term 'dyslexia' and how it may impact on student learning whilst on a professional course of study. It additionally offers advice and guidance on how staff in both universities and practice placements can support students diagnosed with dyslexia. In particular, it showcases the guides on dyslexia developed by staff, students and practice educators at the University of Lincoln and suggests ways in which they may be used.
