Abstract
This chapter considers the ways in which what we hear in "Blue" and Blue might change from adolescence to adulthood, particularly with regards both the song and album's gender politics. I also think in the chapter about the album's figuring in recent popular film and tv as a sign of disappointed adulthood and stretched-out adolescence.
