Abstract
This chapter will attempt to address some of the methodological and
practical applications of applied performance practices within the context of conflict and post-conflict scenarios, primarily reflecting on my previous use of performance in the geographic and political context of Rwanda (2004–12) and Kyrgyzstan (2010–14), whilst recently delivering a workshop for participants training to be drama practitioners in India (2015). Applied performance is just that, an application of performance.
