Abstract
Examines the ECtHR judgment in Turturica v Moldova and Russia (28648/06) on whether the court's jurisdiction applied to both Moldova and Russia with respect to alleged infringements of the rights of citizens in the self-proclaimed Moldavian Republic of Transdniestria on the grounds that it is located in Moldova under international law and it owes its existence to Russian military, economic and political support.
