Abstract
Comments on the ECtHR ruling in Tarasov v Ukraine (44396/05) on whether criminal sanctions imposed on the applicant for disorderly conduct and fighting in a bar, for which he had already received an administrative penalty, meant that he had been punished twice for the same offence, in breach of the ne bis in idem rule under ECHR Protocol 7 art.4.
