Abstract
Grant application:
The UK referendum whose outcome has been to see the projected withdrawal of the UK from the European Union has given rise to a critical debate in the political, social and economic spheres across the country, Europe and the world. A significant part of the debate unsurprisingly concerns migrant workers since immigration was a key premise on which the referendum was won by Brexiters. This research centres on the impact of Brexit on the recruitment of EU migrant workers in rural areas in the UK. We particularly use as a case study the county of Lincolnshire which has a high proportion of these migrants.
