Abstract

This was a series of three invited workshops, delivered to staff and postgraduate students in the Faculty of Tourism at the Acapulco campus of the Autonomous University of Guerrero, Mexico. Each workshop explored the idea of the the entrepreneur (as the content of the phenomenon) and entrepreneurship (as the process) in the context of tourism development. Key lessons for Acapulco were identified and opportunities for product and market diversification were explored.
