This talk discusses Dr Turner's recent book 'A Global Environmental Right' (Routledge, 2014).

It considers the proposition that the existing Westphalian system of international law is inadequate to respond effectively to existing environmental challenges and that the global legal architecture relating to the environment could be redesigned.
