Abstract

In this workshop we will outline four key moral principles that underpin ethical practice and the University of Lincoln regulations. We will highlight the ethical issues that arise from desk based research, research with humans and research with animals and discuss how to demonstrate ‘good practice’ in each case. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a ‘Postgraduate Conference Ethics Committee’ meeting, reviewing authentic applications for ethical approval and making recommendations for the researchers.
