Abstract

This talk explores the use of fragmented material in my music, particularly in reference to work undertaken as part of my British Music Collection Embedded residency, supported by Sound and Music. Works will be played from both earlier and current music, as I explore the issues of fragmentation, miniaturisation and continuity and relationship these topics have with contemporary British music more widely.
