Abstract

The production of 21 unique artists's books as part of an annual collaborative workshop for letterpress practitioners called LENvention(4), led this year by Dr Tim Mosely, from Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia. Tim’s research practice includes haptic aesthetics in relation to the artists’ book. We were introduced to his research methodology and responding to the theme of Empathy, we worked collaboratively to develop and produce 21 unique artists’ books within a two day period.
