Abstract
Knowledge Transfer is fast becoming a commercial necessity for many industries, in order that they may effectively manage their intellectual assets and gain competitive advantage. Subsequently, to be able to maximise that advantage, knowledge management needs to be available across the entire learning spectrum. Once this knowledge has been identified and made more accessible then it is necessary to develop a knowledge transfer procedure. The development of capability to support Higher Educational Institutions in this area is a challenging issue as they are one of the major sources providing this knowledge transfer. This paper addresses issues relating to knowledge management, knowledge transfer, and information flow through the e-Business vehicle from Higher Educational Institutions to industry.
