Section or plan: gotta love 'em all
This article is the tenth episode of story of Zaha Hadid: “Similarly to the overlapping forms, the phenomenon of Hadid's popularity is formed by overlapping motives and causes. She attracts with her mystery, knowledgeability in terms of theory, and a comprehensive perception of architecture, into which she invites art, landscaping, and sometimes sociology. All this is then coupled with her intuitive, artistic sensitivity, which is her attribute that I find the most convincing. Some compare her to Gaudi, talking about the visual language that she has created. She could be compared to surrealists, who juxtaposed dissonances; to dadaists, who played with accident and joke. She could also be compared to Baroque artists who thought of the wealth of forms, emotionality and the fact that buildings are to be admired in motion. One could — and probably should — refrain from comparing her to anything, but rather put one's tongue in one's cheek, ignore her eloquent tricks and yield to poetry. Facing her image and the choice of «section or plan?» the answer is «Sure you gotta love 'em all
