Abstract

Presentation deals with various visions of sustainability and challenges in the context of emerging markets of Central Europe, such as Poland. Polish official politics is really supportive of low-carbon development, but designers and architects could make a considerable change if they engaged with new movements of energy and resource-efficient construction methods, and subscribed to the idea of sustainable design.
