Abstract

This book of papers outlined the contemporary state of play in the education of the most able in primary and secondary schools. It deals with teaching skills and methods, curriculum building for the able, and training for teachers to make them more effective teachers of the able. There is a survey of LEA provision generally along with a case study of a single LEA's pioneering work.
