Colin Ward was one of the most significant thinkers and activists of the British anarchist movement in the twentieth century. In his writings he engaged with housing, squatters, children, urban life, planning. The chapter focuses on the first years of Colin Ward's militancy in the group of Freedom Press and his contribution to War Commentary and Freedom and in th resurgence on anarchist journalism in the post war years.
