Abstract
This presentation considers the possibilities for critical education both inside and outside the contemporary British university. This day workshop aims to create a space for exploring the possibilities that exist within and outside the contemporary academy for politically engaged educational experiments (like or unlike CCCS). We will consider a range of alternative educational projects, from the past and of the present, and will share the experiences of frustration and pleasure, constraint and liberation, that such work involves.
