Abstract
Networking is at the core of the Take Part
learning framework and its principles inspired the Active Learning for Active Citizenship programme(ALAC). ALAC was organised as a set of regional hubs, which were constituted by local groups working on issues of active learning
in civil society. Dialogue, reflection and networking were inherent in these hubs' activities at all levels of the programme. This elaborates the role of networking in Take Part, in particular, its contribution to increase
social capital and community empowerment.
