Abstract
This was a group exhibition of international artists and filmmakers at the private gallery space within the Chelsea district of New York. This included Vanessa Jackson, Lecturer at the Royal Academy of Arts, Danny Rolph and international filmmaker and lecturer at the Royal College of Art, Dick Jewell. The research for this exhibition culminated in four digitally produced wall pieces. These were a mixture of works heat-mounted onto aluminium and those that were printed onto adhesive material and applied temporarily straight onto the wall. The content of the work explored conflict within our daily routines and beliefs through our homage to objects and possessions. The exhibition was promoted with a Press Release that can be viewed on the website www.cynthiabroan.com. The exhibition was voted in the top 5 exhibitions of July in the New York Post and was reviewed on the internet site Artnet. An invitation card was distributed by the gallery and a Private Viewing was held on the 14th July 2005.
