Abstract
Group exhibition (6 exhibitors) supported by Lincolnshire County Council and Arts Council England. An exhibition of photographic images made using a variety of traditional, experimental, and digital technology, exploring combinations of photographic process in the realisation of new work. Eastwood selected work consisted of 4 colour photographs, blurred high contrast colour images that seek to explore the relationship between people and their place within inner-city environments after dark. Neon signs are combined with electric street lighting, the movement of traffic and commuters. The compositions use large areas of black juxtaposed with bright coloured street signs to explore the extent of human intervention and interaction.
