Abstract

This poster describes work undertaken as a result of institutional research exploring the experiences of estranged students in higher education. With the support of Student Wellbeing colleagues and a micro-grant from the University of Lincoln Public Engagement with Research team (PEARL), resources were developed to raise awareness of the experiences of estranged students, whose voices are often hidden within conventional widening participation discourse, and to share information about the support available at the University of Lincoln for students who are estranged from their families. This poster was exhibited at the PEARL 2020 conference.
