Abstract
Two contradicting architectural ideas developed alongside each other since 1960s: one was a vision of a hypertechnical ‘megastructure’ or a vertical city, the other – a dream about human friendly environment. Terry Farrel, one of the most famous postmodernist architects, seems to suggest how those two ideas could merge.
