Abstract
For many book lovers it is not just the contents but the physicality of the book that makes it attractive as an object. The work aims to bring attention to the aesthetics of the book and its potential. The medium of altered books explores meaning pushing the definition of a book. It brings life to an overlooked object, and reveals the landscape enclosed. The book is the canvas, the material, the subject matter to explore.
