Abstract
Preparation for Academic Practice with OER for International Students was located alongside two existing areas of work at the University of Lincoln, both also coordinated by the project lead:
The HEA funded OER Change Academy Programme looking at raising awareness of the philosophy and practice of OER as a whole institution approach to strategic change Embedding OER Practice and;
Getting Started, the university’s programme of transition support for new students.
This alignment with existing initiatives was seen not only as building on structures already established but also contributing a welcome international dimension to existing work i.e. to embed OER practice and to support the student experience prior to enrolment.
