This chapter stems from a project that looked at the reflections of students on the use of electronic sources in seminar programmes. This project involved staff and students at two universities in the United Kingdom. Students at one university were involved in devising a seminar programme to be used by students at another university. The reflections of both sets of students showed that students place a positive value on having access to a wide variety of sources, though apparently for different reasons. The project was designed to provide us with insight into the expectations of students and to see what happens when students are given the role in designing seminar programmes.
