|Abstract:||This presentation will discuss the alternative methods of site analysis developed by year 2 BA(Hons) Architectural Design students at the Hull School of Architecture. The students – working in randomly selected groups – were asked to produce responses to a selection of sites. The aim of the project was to focus on exploring the advantages and limitations of alternative methods and mediums of site investigation and representation. The results were surprising. We will speculate about the wonderful potential of group-work based projects in a context of site and intergroup competition as a source of creativity.|
