Abstract
This is an excellent book. It does the Trust credit, as its publishers, and how pleasant to see it was printed in Horncastle too. Historians of Lincolnshire, of nature conservation locally and nationally, and many other specialists, will be delighted by it. At the same time it is accessible to those with a general interest in nature; these readers will be heartened by reading of the richness of the Trust’s assets, and humbled by the amount of effort over the years that has gone into acquiring and protecting them.
