Abstract

This is a collection of papers from a group of international scholars whose theme can be summarised as the re-humanisation of education - a trend against the tide of world governments. It falls into three parts: perspectives; supporting the learning process; teachers and professional development. The book is designed to re-orientate teachers' thinking about their roles and professionalism.
