Abstract

A series of presentations and discussion events took place over two consecutive days during the festival, which aimed to extend the ideas explored in Art Sheffield 08. The symposium looked at the theme of exhaustion in different contexts, including art, architecture and politics; focused on artistic professional development and the circulation of artistic labour; and explored ideas of the local and the international.

The Symposium comprised a guided tour, three presentations and talks, and a film screening.
